🔗 Automatic Haulora Account Linking

Linking your account is now easier than ever!

• 🔄 Automatic linking: The client now links itself to your Haulora account in the background using your Steam login.
• ✅ One-time confirmation: Once linked, you'll see the message “Haulora account linked automatically”.
• 🔑 Manual alternative: If automatic linking doesn't work, you can still link your account using a code under Haulora → Settings → Link Haulora account.

🛡️ Improved Stability & Crash Fixes

We've made several important improvements to help prevent freezes, stutters, and unexpected crashes.

• 🚦 Fewer freezes: Fixed an issue that could make the game hang for 10–30 seconds while driving.
• ⚡ Smoother gameplay: The game no longer has to wait for Haulora's background tasks, making stutters and hangs much less likely.
• 🖥️ Startup crash fixed: Fixed a crash that could occur when Haulora couldn't create its log file, including cases where the installer was approved from another Windows account.
• 📦 Cargo Market crash fixed: Fixed a crash when taking certain Cargo Market jobs to destinations without a company.
• 🚚 Unusual job data handled: Fixed a crash caused by certain unusual job and trailer data from the game.
• 🔧 Errors are less disruptive: A single error will now skip only the affected action for the current session. Create Job, menus, and the driving overlay remain available, and the next game start works normally. Previously, one error could make Haulora's menu items or driving overlay disappear until a new client version.

The goal is simple: fewer interruptions and a more reliable client.

📍 Better Tracker Connection

The connection between Haulora Client and the tracker has received several improvements.

• 🔄 Smarter reconnections: Recovering from a dropped connection is now more efficient and less disruptive to your game and our servers.
• ℹ️ Clearer connection errors: If the tracker refuses a connection — for example, because you're using an outdated client — you'll now see the reason in-game.
• ⏱️ Reliable distance tracking: Distance tracking no longer stalls when Windows adjusts your system clock.

📷 Improved Speed Camera Warnings

The speed camera warning box is now easier to read at a glance!

The distance display changes colour depending on your speed:

• ⚪ White: At or below the speed limit.
• 🟠 Amber: Up to 10% above the speed limit.
• 🔴 Red: More than 10% above the speed limit.

Stay aware of your speed and keep those fines away!

🔐 Safer Client Updates

We've improved the update process to help protect you from damaged or tampered downloads.

• 🛡️ Fingerprint verification: Every update is checked against its official fingerprint before installation. If a download has been damaged or tampered with, it will be rejected.
• 📂 Correct installation location: Updates will now always be installed into the folder the game actually loads Haulora from.

More reliable updates, with extra protection built in.

🌍 Three New Languages

Haulora now supports 38 in-game languages!

The following languages are now fully translated:

• 🗣️ Catalan
• 🗣️ Galician
• 🗣️ Basque

⚙️ Under-the-Hood Improvements

We've also made several improvements behind the scenes:

• 🧠 Lower CPU usage: Reduced CPU usage while driving, particularly for speed camera detection and the data sent to the tracker.
• 📝 Controlled log size: The client log file now maintains a maximum size of 5 MB.
• 🐛 Better error reports: Error reports are sent immediately and include more detail, helping us investigate and fix problems faster.
