Acceptance of terms
By creating a Haulora account or using the Haulora website, dashboard, or tracker, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Data & Logging Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Haulora.
Description of service
Haulora is a community platform for trucking simulation players, offering an account dashboard, company (VTC) tools, leaderboards, and an optional desktop tracker plugin that reports live telemetry from the game while it's running. Haulora is built and run by a single independent developer as a hobby/community project - it is not operated by a company or registered business entity, and there is no dedicated support team or guaranteed uptime behind it.
Your account is on loan, not owned by you
This is the single most important thing to understand about using Haulora: your account, and everything tied to it - haul history, statistics, rank, company membership - is provided to you as a license to use the service, not something you own or are entitled to keep. Because Haulora is run by one person with no company behind it, there's no formal process, appeals system, or guaranteed continuity that a larger platform might offer.
As a result, access to your account can be suspended, limited, or permanently terminated at any time, at our sole discretion, for any reason or no reason at all, with or without prior notice or explanation. This includes, but isn't limited to, rule violations, suspected abuse or cheating, technical or security concerns, or Haulora being discontinued altogether.
Termination may result in the permanent loss of your account and all associated data (haul history, statistics, company standing, etc.), with no obligation on our part to restore it or compensate you for it. Treat anything you build up on Haulora as something to enjoy while it lasts, not as a guaranteed, permanent possession.
Eligibility
You need a Steam account to sign in to Haulora. You must be legally permitted to use Steam and to agree to these terms in your jurisdiction.
Account registration & security
Your Haulora account is created and accessed via Steam OpenID (and optionally Discord/Twitch login once linked). You're responsible for keeping the accounts you use to sign in secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, you can revoke active sessions from Settings → Danger Zone.
Acceptable use
In addition to these terms, all users must follow our community rules, presented and accepted when you first sign in and available any time from your account. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, falsifying or tampering with tracker telemetry, harassment or abuse of other members, and attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Company (VTC) features & user content
Companies and their members may post content such as bulletin board posts, applications, and profile descriptions. You retain ownership of content you post, but you're responsible for it, and grant Haulora the right to display it as part of operating the service. We may remove content that violates these terms or our community rules.
Intellectual property
The Haulora name, logo, and site design are the property of Haulora. User-generated content (profile text, bulletin posts, etc.) remains owned by the user who posted it, subject to the license described above.
Third-party services
Haulora integrates with Steam, Discord, and Twitch for authentication, and is built around trucking simulation games played on platforms such as TruckersMP. Haulora is an independent, fan-made community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms or game publishers.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Haulora is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, by an individual developer rather than a company. We don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or indefinite operation of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haulora and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of account access, haul history, or statistics.
Ending your account
You may delete your own account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. See
"Your account is on loan, not owned by you" above for how and why we may suspend or terminate an account ourselves.
Governing law
Haulora is operated by an individual, not a registered company, so these terms are governed by the laws applicable to that individual's country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This section is a placeholder pending confirmation of the applicable jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
