We've been working hard behind the scenes, and this is one of the biggest Haulora updates yet! The website, mobile app, live connection, and API have all moved to a new, faster foundation.

Alongside performance improvements, we're introducing new tools for drivers, companies, and developers, a significantly improved mobile experience, and important security and privacy enhancements.

⚡ Faster, Rebuilt From the Ground Up

The Haulora website, mobile app, live connection, and API now run on a new, faster foundation.

📊 Route Benchmark

Ever wondered how your haul compares with other drivers travelling the same route?

Every delivered haul now includes a Route Benchmark, showing how your run compares with other drivers on that route.

See how you stack up and track your performance across the routes you drive!

📔 Trips Logbook

Your hauls are now organised into driving sessions called Trips.

• 🚚 Hauls are grouped into trips automatically.
• 💤 A new trip starts after a 30-minute break.
• 📍 Find your trips under Hauls → Trips or on user profiles.
• 📤 Export your trips to CSV for your own records and analysis.

Your driving history is now easier to explore, review, and export.

🗺️ More Useful Map Layers

Maps now support additional layers to help you plan and understand your drives.

You can show speed cameras, including their speed limits, and fuel prices on:

🚛 “Driving Now” Profile Card

Profiles can now show when a driver is currently on the road.

The new Driving Now card includes a link that follows the driver on the Livemap, making it easier to find and follow active drivers.

👀 Livemap Viewer Count

The Livemap now shows how many people are watching.

The viewer count appears once there are at least 2 viewers.

🟢 Live Company Online List

The online driver list in your company's Overview now updates live, so you can see who's online without constantly refreshing the page.

🔗 Game Client Linking

Connecting your game client to your Haulora account is now easier to manage.

• 🔄 Automatic linking: Your client can link to your account through Steam.
• 🔑 Manual linking: Alternatively, use a linking code at https://haulora.net/link.
• ⚙️ Manage linked clients: Visit Settings → Game client to view your linked clients and unlink them when needed.

🌐 Your Preferred Time Zone

You can now choose your time zone under Settings → Location.

If you don't select one, Haulora uses your browser's time zone. This helps ensure times across the platform are displayed in your local time.

👨‍💻 Developer & API Improvements

We've also added useful improvements for developers and company administrators.

• 🔑 API key usage: View the usage of each API key under Settings → API and Company Admin → API.
• 🪝 Webhook delivery history: Webhooks now retain each delivery and allow you to resend it.
• 📄 API pagination headers: The public API now provides paging headers to help clients navigate paginated results.

These improvements make integrations easier to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain.

📱 Mobile App (PWA) Improvements

The Haulora mobile app has received a major upgrade, bringing more of the website's features to your phone while improving performance, accessibility, and reliability.

🗺️ Livemap for Everyone

The Livemap is now available to all drivers, including those who aren't part of a company.

Company members can switch between viewing their own company and all drivers.

You can now access even more Haulora features from the mobile app:

Find what you're looking for without navigating through endless lists manually.

🔐 Stay Logged In

Your session now renews itself before it expires, reducing unexpected logouts while you're using the app.

We've made several improvements to make the app more comfortable to use:

📡 Offline Support & Updates

• 📶 The app now indicates when you're offline.
• 🔄 When a new version is available, the app offers an option to reload and update.

🌍 Units, Language & Accessibility

• 📏 Distances and speeds follow your unit settings for each game.
• 🔢 Numbers and dates follow your selected language.
• ♿ Improved screen reader and keyboard support.

🪶 A Lighter App

Performance improvements also reduce the amount of data your device needs to download.

• 📉 Pages and maps can download up to 4× less data.
• 🔋 The Livetracker is significantly lighter on your phone.

Less data, less work for your device, and a smoother experience on the go.

🔄 Live Updates & Real-Time Improvements

We've improved how Haulora keeps live information up to date.

• 📍 Smarter position updates: The Livemap and Livetracker receive positions in small, batched updates for smoother movement and lower data and battery usage.
• 🔄 Automatic permission refresh: If your company membership or administrator rights change, pages that are already open can detect the change and reload themselves.
• 🏢 New company owner notification: You'll now receive a notification when a company gets a new owner.

🔐 Safety, Security & Privacy

Security and transparency remain important priorities. This update includes several improvements to protect accounts, companies, and connections.

We've carried out a broad security review and strengthened protections across:

🗑️ Safer Account & Company Deletion

Deleting an account or company now requires you to type its name to confirm the action.

This extra step helps prevent accidental deletions.

🚫 Clearer Ban Notices

Suspension notices now display the reason for the suspension and its end date, making the situation clearer for affected users.

📜 New Account-Sharing Rule

A new Rule 4 has been added to cover account sharing. Please review the updated rules to understand the requirements.

🔤 Fonts Hosted by Haulora

Haulora now serves its fonts directly instead of relying on Google Fonts, reducing the website's dependency on an external font service.

🔏 Updated Privacy & Data Policies

The Privacy Policy and Data & Logging Policy now explain how website request logs are handled.

These logs include:

• 🌐 A shortened IP address
• 🆔 Your account ID
• 🗓️ A retention period of 14 days
